Coach  Mike Stephen grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Tri-Cities High School. While at Tri-Cities, he won a State Championship in wrestling in 1991 and was State Runner-Up in 1992. Coach Stephen attended Georgia State University (Bachelor's), Troy University (Masters), and Georgia Southern University (Specialist). Mike has been at Grayson since 2007. Along with wrestling he is the In-School Suspension Coordinator for the school. He lives in Loganville and is married to Alyssa and has two children in Jaden and Micah.
